Lucentia Research Group is a multidisciplinary team where we use methodologies and techniques, the result of university research, to apply them to the business world.

Lucentia Research Group was created in 2008. This research group is led by Juan C. Trujillo and focuses its main research on the development of business intelligence and eLearning solutions. All this, through innovative technologies and Big Data analysis.

Lucentia Research is considered a reference, both nationally and internationally, in business intelligence applications.

This is clearly demonstrated by the high number of publications in high impact JCR indexed journals and CORE A conferences, design tools, relationships with various research groups and participation in various public and private projects.

Data Analytics y Business Intelligence

We develop flexible and affordable business intelligence systems, tailored to SMEs and multinationals, considering analytical requirements and data characteristics, using a hybrid and systemic approach.

Unstructured and Open Data Processing

We visualize data to identify patterns and trends, combining structured and unstructured information. Our methodology uncovers hidden patterns and detects bias in visualizations.

Data Transformation and Artificial Intelligence

We use AI techniques and advanced data analytics to power business processes, optimize sales and uncover underlying patterns across different industries.

Requirements Engineering

Our Requirements Engineering techniques ensure success by defining objectives, monitoring projects and adapting strategically, facilitating communication and optimizing AI solutions.

Security in Business Intelligence Applications

We develop methods to ensure security and quality from the early stages of the development of data warehouses and web applications, optimizing costs and complying with legal requirements.
